We are seeking highly skilled and experienced FTTP Network Planner to join our team. As an FTTP Network Planner, you will be responsible for designing and planning FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) networks for our clients, utilizing existing BT Openreach infrastructure, and using QGIS as your design platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and planning FTTP networks based on client requirements utilizing existing BT Openreach infrastructure
  • Creating detailed network design documents using QGIS as the design platform
  • Creating network design & site surveys documents
  • Creating bill of materials and cost estimates for FTTP projects
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices related to FTTP design and planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FTTP design and planning
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications network design and architecture
  • Proficiency in using design and planning tools such as QGIS, Adobe and Visio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
