Lucid Connect are working with a a rapidly growing wireless systems integrator who have created LAN connectivity solutions for some of the UK’s best-known companies. Their expertise is used in a wide range of sectors and technologies, from installing and maintaining LAN/WLAN into supermarket and retail chains; other industry sectors include hotels, restaurants, and educational establishments in the search for FTTH Project Managers.

You will be responsible for project management services and technical expertise required to lead deployment initiatives for various Partners products and solutions.

You would be responsible for the successful completion of project assignments, managing resource, project activity and co-ordination. Key indicators for project success include complete customer satisfaction with the project execution, results, and completing the project on schedule with all appropriate documentation.

In addition will be accountable for preselling, managing and supervising day to day activities within a portfolio of contracts. You need to have a demonstrated track record of technical and operational excellence in delivering high quality contract performance to customers, the potential for supervising a team of engineers and to possess the skills necessary to relate positively to customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Effectively control the profit & loss budgets for each contract, particularly around labour, subcontract, and material costs.

· Ensure that all teams receive regular communications on contract performance and other issues relevant to their roles.

· To ensure that staff are fully competent and trained to undertake key tasks.

· Support the Project Delivery Director in the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and standards necessary to maintain the integrity of ongoing operational activities and to provide high quality service to customers.

· Identify and implement, in agreement, operational improvements to ensure the continued provision of high-quality service to existing customers.

· Plan the effective deployment of labour in conjunction with the Project Delivery Director and subcontractors within the area of responsibility to ensure efficient labour utilisation and quality service for the customers.

· Support with contract administration, including time sheets, fuel returns, raising invoices and purchase orders.

· Maintain day to day contact with customer representatives, to review and resolve operational matters within contracts and to identify areas for the Project Delivery Director where the value of business could be expanded.

· Ensure that the highest quality standards are applied in all areas of day-to-day activity in order to satisfy and maintain company defined standards and the requirements of external quality verification.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

· Specific industry experience at a day-to-day operational level in Structured Cabling and FTTH environments.

· Experienced within client facing, stakeholder environment

· Knowledge of key operational procedures e.g., invoicing, time sheets, purchase orders, installation techniques, Quality and Health and Safety.

· Experience of working in a project team on at least 2 medium-scale, or small-scale multiple projects.

· Knowledge of full project lifecycle: initiation, managing stage boundaries, change management, risk management, and the principles of running projects.

· Excellent time management, communication, organisation, and customer service skills.

· Ability to work well within a team, and with minimum supervision.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

· Proven experience of Microsoft applications.

· Full UK Driver’s License required

· You may be required to travel to customer sites as required in addition to office locations
