The Role

Design and development of innovative frontend applications for the e-commerce domain using state of the art technologies and development/deployment practices.

• allow SAP customers to be agile – to quickly adopt and deploy highly contextualised, optimised experiences to their customers, in real-time
• deliver measurable outcomes and actionable insights in real-time that can be continually optimised via machine/reinforcement learning
  

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, engaging, intuitive frontend applications for industry leading companies
• Produce high quality code that satisfies all functional and non-functional requirements
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology and industry best practices, identifying where they can be incorporated to bring improvements to engineering and operational practices and processes
• Recommend appropriate technologies and libraries to be used in the client side stack
• Embrace the Agile process, be self-empowered, take ownership of, and responsibility for your work; collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other teams.
  

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
• Min 2 years commercial experience creating robust modular frontend applications using the Angular framework
• Understanding of good design principles and patterns
• Solid appreciation of security concepts
• Experience developing for the cloud
• Be committed to provide the best quality software every time
• Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and an evolving technology stack
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English is essential
• Experience with the following:
• Javascript
• Typescript
• Rxjs
• Angular (or a similar framework such as React, Vue, etc)
• Node / npm
• One or more testing frameworks, e.g. Cypress, Jasmine
• REST
• Git
