Chandlers is a busy cafe located on Torbay Road, Paignton. We are continuously working hard to make us the go to cafe whether its for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. We are proud to serve fresh and local food and strive to use local suppliers and produce wherever possible.

We are looking to expand our core team as we go towards the summer months. This person will be enthusiastic and confident and must fit in well with our small team. We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service skills who will work with us to build a successful business and a relaxed working environment. This person must have previous experience using a coffee machine and be over the age of 18 due to serving alcohol.

This position is part time and permanent, with a minimum of 20 hours per week in out of season months rising to 30+ in high season. A Typical working week would be 9am-3pm over 3-5 days, with no evening work!

Front of house assistant duties will include but are not limited to the following:

- Taking customer order through the till system

- Making hot and cold drinks, and serving them to the table

- Running food from the kitchen to the table

- Clearing and relaying tables

- Helping with washing up during busy periods

- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the cafe

The ideal candidate will:

- Have at least one years experience in a similar role

- Have a good understanding of how to use a barista style coffee machine

- Have a bubbly personality
