Our client is looking for a bright, bubbly person to join their growing business as a Front of House Assistant and Learning and Development Administrator.

This role is based at their modern offices in Crawley and is an ongoing rolling full time contract working Monday to Friday 9-5.15pm.

This a unique and varied role which sits between the Front of House Reception desk and working as part of the HR Team. It s is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your Customer Service and people skills, as well as your Administrative experience.

Role responsibilities will include:

Learning and Development (L&D)

  • Assist with L&D related projects and the administration of the strategy.
  • Enrolling new starters on the e-learning platforms.
  • Issuing health and safety and compliance training.
  • Updating of training records/skills matrices, reporting and analysis of attendance.
  • Organising training courses, booking appropriate trainers and venues.

Front-of-House

  • Welcoming all visitors, contractors and staff with a smile!
  • Ensuring visitors sign in and issue visitor access passes following H&S processes.
  • Being the first point of contact for calls received to the switchboard.
  • Maintaining stock, refreshment provisions and distributing stationery.
  • Main point of contact for conference and meeting rooms requirements including ordering lunches, setting up equipment and general upkeep.
  • Various Health & Safety activities.

Experience and attributes required:

  • Previous Administrative experience essential, reception/ front of house is preferred
  • Experience of HR/ L&D/ Training is highly advantageous
  • Excellent people skills with a bright, friendly personality
  • Good standard of GCSE/A Level education with excellent written and spoken English
  • Good Computer/MS Office literate and able to learn new databases
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable process and organisation skills
  • Strong team ethic
