Company Description


Culina Group is a market leading food and drink logistics provider across the chilled and ambient temperature ranges, providing warehousing, distribution, contract packing and a series of value added solutions.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on a permanent, full-time contract at our chilled Lutterworth site.

Shift:3 on 3 off Days 06:00 - 18:00

Salary: £25,000 p/a, overtime x1.5


Job Description
  • Manage and motivate the shift team in order to ensure that productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded
  • Manage Goods Inwards area and Loading bays to ensure that receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods so that stock is available to satisfy orders
  • Develop and train all team members so that their contributions to the warehouse can be maximized and succession plan
  • Carry out disciplinary/ grievance interviews and investigations in line with Company procedure
  • Support the Shift Manager in any ad hoc duties within the Warehouse function
  • Over see the cross docking process
  • Ensure that the work place is clean and tidy at all times
  • Carry out daily shift briefs to their teams and ensure that their teams are kept up to date with all relevant information to enable them to carry out their work
  • Ensure that all areas of the warehouse comply with the companies Health, Safety and Welfare policies
  • Monitor and control the work environment to ensure that it is operating to its optimum efficiency
  • Ensure that the shifts performance is in line with the work load and Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure that the available resources are utilized to there full potential at all times

Qualifications
  • Attention to detail/accuracy
  • Computer Literte in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work as part of a team or as standalone
  • Conscientious and reliable
  • Flexible attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
  • Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
