AWA DANCE charity (Advancing Women’s Aspirations with Dance) is embarking on its next organisational development period from September. Our mission is to empower the leadership of women and girls through the power of dance

What will you be doing?

We are looking for someone interested in Impact, research and data collection

We are looking for volunteers with different expertise to join the team. The role itself is flexible, as the expertise we are looking for depends also on the interests of the professionals. Some of the areas are partnerships, fundraising, intersectional feminism, inclusive language, dance and leadership workshop delivery, policy, advocacy and research.

At the moment all these roles are mainly covered by our founder and director, and as we want to grow there is scope and the need to bring other expertise on board.

What are we looking for?

Someone that has expertise or wants to develop further in the context of a small organisation that is growing where lots of exciting things are planned for the future.

Working as part of a collaborative team is important to us.

What difference will you make?

You will contribute to grow the impact of a small charity, that unifies dance, women and leadership as the core of its activities. We are already collecting data, but we want to get better at this and at research for the dance sector (something that hardly exists in relation to dance and leadership). We are also developing a partnership with Coventry University to improve our research capacity.
