£18,000 - £22,000 Per Annum + OTE bonus (Full-time, Permanent)

We are looking for multiple experienced Travel Consultants to take up this fantastic opportunity with our clients. In over 30 years in business, our clients make it easy and rewarding for our travel agent partners to sell our worldwide luxury holidays. This as a result, meaning they have won more than 60 travel awards and accolades that endorse their brand and demonstrate their commitment to the highest levels of customer service.

During a disrupted and troubled couple of years in the travel industry, they have not paused their ambition to become the UK’s leading business to business supplier of personalised luxury holidays, we’re looking for talented and enthusiastic people to bring their skills to their existing team and support the ambitions for growth.

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for several Worldwide Travel Consultants (specialising in our long-haul or short-haul destinations) to join our Contact Centre team.

In this role, the Worldwide Travel Consultant draws upon their passion and aptitude for sales, alongside a deep understanding and experience of travel to our destinations, to help deliver our ambition to become the UK’s leading B2B beach and multi-centre holiday retailer.

Working both individually and part of a team, the Worldwide Travel Consultant is a highly motivated sales professional who is capable of exceeding sales, profit and service targets as well as identifying new opportunities to maximise sales.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Sell single centre or complex, itinerised luxury holidays to both travel agents and direct customers, exceeding the customers’ expectations and going the extra mile wherever possible
  • Achieve and exceed company, team and individual objectives relating to sales, profit, service, and productivity targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, direct customers, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities to improve sales and margin
  • Proactively develop destination and product knowledge in support of sales and engage in companywide training to develop both sales techniques and product understanding
  • Effectively and efficiently deal with any administration queries
  • Establish good communication and working relationships with other business functions

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent understanding of and passion for travel
  • Proven track record of achieving target
  • Supplier relationship & negotiation to improve profits

  • Dynamic sales professional with proven sales ability and a strong customer focus
  • Good understanding of the luxury travel market
  • Confident and assertive manner, ability to influence and negotiate with others
