An exciting opportunity for a Transport Recruitment Specialist has arisen working in our Logistics Team – Truline, reporting directly into the Manager Director, Truline.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As a Transport Recruitment Specialist for Truline, you will join a thriving team covering a specialist sector, with responsibility for building a candidate pool throughout the UK, using various media platforms to advertise and recruit, along with managing relationships with and negotiating pricing and terms with Agency Providers. You will be:

  • Working closely with Depot and Transport Managers to manage all permanent and temporary driving vacancies.
  • Facilitating and supporting managers in the short listing and selection of applicants, organising interviews and attending interviews as required.
  • Delivering and managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns
  • Working closely with agencies to manage temporary staff requirements, ensuring we achieve the most competitive rates.
  • Reviewing the PSL on a regular basis and working on reducing agency spend.
  • Building a strong bank of active candidates through talent generation activity.
  • Managing recruitment through the ATS, tracking applicants through to offer stage.
  • Ensuring all recruitment is carried out in accordance with the Equality and Diversity Policy and current legislation.
  • Developing recruitment literature as required.
  • Assisting in building job descriptions and advertising using various methods, including job boards, Social Media and the evo website.
  • Monitoring recruitment spend, operating within budgetary limits and providing reports to Management and the Board as required.
  • Organising and facilitating Assessment days where necessary.
  • Ensuring that the qualifications and Right to Work of prospective employees are correct and valid, taking and saving copies in line with regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates and agencies where needed.
  • Promoting the Company/Truline brand.
  • Providing managers with support on the recruitment process.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Vast experience in the recruitment of Multi-drop van drivers, C1, Class C&E across UK & ROI is essential, along with:

  • Previous experience in Logistics recruitment, whether Inhouse or Agency.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with Transport Managers.
  • Knowledge and experience of end-to-end lifecycle of recruitment.
  • Experience of recruiting via an ATS and other databases to track applicants through to offer stage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Conversant with legal standards regarding HR management and recruitment.
  • The ability to multitask, be organised, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to design and implement new job descriptions.
  • Full UK driving license.

This role is home based, offering a car allowance, as travel throughout the UK will be required. In return we are offering a competitive basic salary along with a generous commission structure.
