SHEET METAL WORKER (Aerospace)

£18-£19 (Dependant on Experience)

Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a Global Engineering company located in Dorset, that manufactures world-class machined, composite and fabricated components for the global Aerospace, MOD markets.

Due to a completely full order book and an expansive vision for the next 5 years , they are now looking for skilled Sheet metal workers to join there already established team. You will become part of a team working on new and bespoke projects, allowing you to increase knowledge and skillset on the job.

This combined with a highly skilled, flexible, and responsive workforce, allows the company to focus on quality control, timescales and price guarantees, establishing them as one of the market leaders.

Located at one of there sites in Dorset you will be working alongside skilled engineering professionals to assist you in your new role and help develop your career.

Successful candidates will be working in an environment that will challenge you.

What do you need?

  • Forming profiles of aerospace products to a high specification
  • Polishing, Forming, Finishing, Rolling, Drilling
  • Use of press machines, rubber press, press brakes
  • Hand and power tools
  • Working with aluminium, aerospace composites and titanium
  • NVQ in sheet metal work / fabrication preferable
  • Industry experience - Aerospace (ideal), Nuclear, Medical or Automotive (high end)
  • Must have good team working skills coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and forward thinker with a ’can do’ attitude.

SHIFT

  • Monday - Thursday 07:00AM - 3:00PM and Friday: 07:00AM - 12:00 PM

OVERTIME:

  • Time and Half
