About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to be a key part of our West Infrastructure Commercial Team delivering numerous multifaceted Highways and Civil Engineering projects across the region. You will report directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and work closely alongside Commercial and Operations colleagues and other business areas of Cormac and Corserv. About you Relevant surveying related qualification and/or proven experience in the related industry fields; Successful and consistent commercial achievement in scheme/project delivery; Sound knowledge of procurement processes, ECI and contracts, Health and Safety and risk management; A good understanding of Contract Conditions, NEC ECC contract practical experience is preferable; Experience in supply chain commercial administration; Experience of giving advice to and building effective relationships plus enhancing the reputation of the business with stakeholders, partners and clients; Experience in financial management and cost control of construction and engineering projects; Demonstrates sound negotiating, written, social and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well; Proven experience in cost control management of construction projects. Office working to include Scorrier (nr Redruth) and Penzance.
