Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lutterworth
Type: Full-Time Nights (no weekends)

Role Highlights:As a Production Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our converting machines, PLC systems, and related equipment. Your expertise will directly impact our production efficiency and overall operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Lyish, TeknoWeb, PCMC, and Temcon Converters.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Allan Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC systems.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of pumps, sealing units, dispensers, and conveyors.
  • Utilise Time Server knowledge to streamline production line operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
  • Fabricate spare parts using Turning Lathe, Manual Miller, and Welding techniques.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred but we would consider someone with experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong command of Allan Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC systems.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with converting machines like Lyish, TeknoWeb, PCMC, and Temcon.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Time Server familiarity is a distinct advantage.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
