At Two, we’re passionate about building software that helps B2B Merchants sell more, faster, and more efficiently. We partner with small and large businesses to transform how they receive payments from their customers. Our software is used to make the checkout process frictionless - implementing for the first time true one-click purchasing for businesses selling to other businesses.

Two’s software helps to increase sales conversion, gets Merchants paid quickly, reliably, and with no credit risk, and frees up cash so they can concentrate on what they do best-providing their customers with world-class goods and services.

Our product differentiator is a frictionless checkout process that provides strong value propositions for both our merchant partners and their customers. Effective transaction management tools, the speed, reliability, and security of our service, and the quality of the insights we provide are key features of our platform. We are very passionate about what we do and we aim to be best-in-class. We are therefore looking for like-minded individuals who are equally passionate to come in at this early stage and work with us to shape and define our platform. We are currently operating in two countries, Norway and UK, and looking to expand further in Europe and globally.

Location:

We are presently building our main talent hubs in Oslo and London with a plan to expand to key European locations over the next 12 months. If you aren’t based in either London or Oslo but are keen to explore the role further, we’d love to hear from you — Two is a remote-friendly company, with a flexible working policy accommodating onsite and remote teams, with the expectation that some travel to our hubs will be required.

About the role:

Product obsession sits at the heart of Two. We care a lot about solving the problems our customers face and solving them well. To do this we’re building a product team that combines rigour with strong customer empathy and great attention to UI/UX, a team that will grow to be standard setters in B2B e-commerce payments products.

In this role you will be a founding member of the Two product team and have a unique opportunity to research, build and grow new products and features from scratch. You’ll also play a key part in shaping the product culture and scaling the team over the coming years. It will be challenging but very rewarding!

Your day-to-day will involve
  • The nuts and bolts of managing your products and features to drive growth and solve customer needs - working with engineering, design and other teams in the company to prioritise, groom and refine your backlog.
  • Monitoring the performance of your products to spot issues and opportunities, and factoring these into your roadmap.
  • Carrying out discovery on new products and features and identifying ways to test and validate key assumptions and risks.
  • Building a strong understanding of the payments needs of businesses that sell to other businesses online, and the needs of businesses that buy online. Our job is to work out what they care about and how to make their lives easier.
  • Performing market, competitor and customer analysis - and sharing this with the rest of the company.
  • Working with all members of the Two team to make sure every aspect of the customer and buyer experience is as good as it can be.

Requirements
  • Interested in the mission! - You believe in what we’re trying to build in Two, have a look at https://two.inc to find out more.
  • Have built great products before - You have at least 2 years product experience, ideally in a fast growing company leading cross functional teams or have worked in top tier consulting or investment banking.
  • Focused on customers - You can empathise with customers and consider products and experiences from their perspective, you have experience talking to customers and understanding their needs and desired outcomes.
  • Want to get things done - You’re willing to get your hands dirty and you like getting things done. You’re able to structure and organise projects, set targets and have a strong sense of ownership.
  • Know how to use data - You’re data driven and know how to pull insights from data and use it to prioritise your work. You also know the limits of data and are capable of acknowledging and managing risks and assumptions.
  • Understand technology - You have empathy for the challenges engineers face when building products, and how to minimise these through clear communication and good planning. You also know what you don’t know.

Benefits
  • 25 days paid days off per year.
  • Genuine flexibility in how you work - because you’re an adult, and it’s what you do that matters, not what hours you work.

  • A share options scheme - so that Two’s success is your success.
  • Other accessories: 27" inch monitor, keyboard, mouse for office, and a 50% subsidy towards the purchase of home office equipment.
  • £500 annual allowance for learning and training
  • £500 annual allowance — to spend on anything that will contribute to your mental or physical health.
