Whether this is from a clinical industry or a strong retail background.The role will cover a large practice with a substantial turnover, you will work with the overall leadership team in practice and have accountability in partnership with the Lead Vet.This is a multi-site role looking after Redruth, Camborne, and assisting the team in St Ives.Key AccountabilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the practice.Ensure high standards of veterinary care and client service.Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and development. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.Foster a positive working environment and maintain staff morale.Act as the main point of contact between veterinarians, staff, and clients.Implement marketing and outreach programs to promote the practice.Skills And ExperienceThe ideal candidate would be able to articulate the following:Operational Excellence: Knowledge of daily operations, including appointment scheduling, billing, and inventory management.Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, forecast needs, and understand financial statements.HR Skills: Familiarity with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and handling staff issues.Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with practice management software and basic IT troubleshooting.Compliance Knowledge: Awareness of veterinary medicine regulations, standards, and best practices.Customer Service: Ability to ensure a high standard of client service and handle complaints professionally.Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal with staff, veterinarians, and clients.Strategic Planning: Ability to align the practice’s operations with its mission and vision.The BranchAt Monument Vets, we believe that your furry friend deserves the best care.
