We’re looking for a second apprentice to join our small, friendly and hardworking team. You’ll learn how to manage our stock, deal with orders & help us put together our hand-designed cards as well as pick and pack and rotate stock. We work from bright offices in rural Leicestershire & have a great team spirit. Full training support will be given

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working within our warehousing/order fulfilment team to:

Pick, pack and dispatch orders. Hand finish and sleeve cards

Print orders from our websites

Pick orders and checking for accuracy & pack to a high quality

Glitter cards and assemble products if required

Review and replenish assembled stock levels in a tidy manner

These are illustrative duties. The post requires an apprentice who is willing to be flexible and with a keen interest in promoting the success of Molly Mae.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will have protected study time (in our offices) and will receive accredited training from Derby Business College. You will learn many aspects of the supply chain process including:

Regulations

IT and technology

Customer service

Team working

On successful completion you will be awarded the Apprenticeship Standard in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2.

You will also receive training from our own staff who are very experienced and happy to share their knowledge

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The right candidate would have the opportunity to train into other areas of the business which is of interest to them. Such as working with specialist software in stock management and order processing. Social Media content producer, sales and marketing.

Things to consider

You must check how you are going to travel to the workplace, including mileage, expense and time. We are not based on a main public transport route so please check before submitting an application. About the employer

Molly Mae specialise in beautiful, design-led greeting cards for all occasions. The design work is all created in-house, the cards are then printed by specialist greeting cards printers. We assemble the cards, some are hand-finished and sell them through several websites, via sales agents and trade shows to UK and International stockists. We’re proud of our team and have experience of training apprentices.
