Title: Muliskilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Lutterworth Shifts: A Mix of days and nights Salary: £52,000 + overtime + benefits package The Company: My client, a well established FMCG company, is seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a highly skilled team during this very exciting time in the business on a full time, permanent basis. The company has a fantastic reputation within the FMCG manufacturing industry and to their surrounding customers. The Candidate: You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of both the planned and reactive maintenance of a very fast-paced production line and a willingness to pitch in and take ownership of projects moving forward in the role. As an experienced engineer you must be able to showcase your mechanical and electrical ability including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, inverters and plc control systems. Along with having the ability to Sign of all SSOW (safe systems of work) and apply effective problem-solving skills methodology i.e. Lean Six Sigma, 5S. You should be comfortable working as part of a team and able to show initiative where needed, input suggestions and show a genuine interest in assisting the rest of the team and the engineering manager to build an efficient production line. Requirements:
  • Experience working as a multiskilled maintenance engineer with a FMCG or similar environment.
  • Willingness to grow and develop with the business and ambition to progress.
  • Hold a level 3 NVQ or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Siemens S7 PLC knowledge is preferred
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
