We are always looking towards the future and ways to improve processes and outputs. We rely on our employees and teams to identify how this can be done. With this in mind, we are recruiting a Maintenance Engineerto join our Keele site.

What’s the mission?Working as part of our Engineering team, Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You’ll need to be electrically biased and able to commute to our Keele site daily.

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, Monday to Friday (06:30 am – 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm – 06:30 am.

At our Keele site, we encourage and invest in the development of our teams to ensure the continued success of the site. We currently have around 140 colleagues here including a production manager, operators, team leaders, shift managers, maintenance team, administration, planning (production and maintenance), quality department, EHSQ officer aswell as samples, and store colleagues. What are the mission-critical skills?
  • A good electrical working knowledge with mechanical experience is essential
  • Apprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering discipline
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations
  • Excellent level of English, oral and written
