We are currently looking for 4 Snr/Java Developer on contract within IR35 to work Hybrid model.

Core skills that we will need for a Java developer in Bolt:

Essential:

Spring 5.X & SpringBoot 2.x

Micro services

SOAP and REST Web services

Docker

JMS (Active MQ or RabitMQ)

Oracle

Desirable:

Additional Information:

REST API uses Web Application Description Language for describing the functionalities being offered by web services. On other hand SOAP API used Web Services Description language for the same. REST has SSL and HTTPS for security.

There is no direct comparison between SOAP and REST APIs. ... SOAP uses only XML for exchanging information in its message format whereas REST is not restricted to XML and its the choice of implementer which Media-Type to use like XML, JSON, Plain-text. Moreover, REST can use SOAP protocol but SOAP cannot use REST.
