PlastikCity is a digital procurement and marketing business, specialising in the plastic manufacturing industry. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Internal Sales Executive to join a small, friendly team.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience/industry awareness) + commission

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension scheme, free on-site parking, 4pm finish on Fridays

This is an office-based sales role to manage, maintain and grow our existing customer base. Occasional customer site visits and exhibition stand work will be required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Meeting the agreed level of contact with existing accounts to maintain/increase levels of business activity
  • Research and identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits to secure new business
  • Process orders and offer customer feedback
  • Efficiently use CRM database and meet call targets
  • General office duties
  • Quote and support existing/potential customers

You should have a proven track record in B2B sales and client relations, ideally to a technical audience or within the SME market. The successful applicant will be very disciplined and motivated with an entrepreneurial drive and ability to strongly influence clients.

  • Hard worker, motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Courteous, professional and persistent
  • Good organisational and time planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to Senior Managers, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail and strong grammatical skills are essential
  • Good IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent customer service skills

Experience required:

  • Proven experience in a sales environment
  • Knowledge of the UK plastics / manufacturing markets desirable but not essential

Education required:

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English

This is an office-based role therefore the successful candidate must have their own means of transport to travel to and from our office in Claybrooke Parva, Leicestershire. Free on-site parking is provided.
