DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to join our People Team. This is a new role in the business and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to support our colleagues.
What’s the opportunity?
The Fleet Administrator would be responsible for undertaking various administrative tasks led by management and company requirements, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You would support the head of company small van and car fleet in the day-to-day running of the fleet and assets.
What does the role involve?
- Manage costs, including budget work alongside your line manager and the finance department
- Streamline processes and procedures, including introduction of new processes where applicable
- Maintain driver and vehicle records - company vehicles and Grey Fleet
- Ensure that all P11D information for payroll/HMRC purposes is accurate at all times
- Keeping up to date with government rules and regulations
- Monitor fuel consumption and check fuel cards
- Keeping fleet databases up to date and accurate
- Regular benchmark meeting s with our supplier and your line manager
- Monitor insurance and ensure that all accident claims are processed in a timely manner as required in the company policy
- Manage vendor contracts
- Lease new vehicles
- Assign and oversee pool vehicles
- Provide reports as required by your line manager
- At least 2 years’ experience as a transport administrator
- Confident in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Great communication skills, internal & external.
