Are you an experienced accountant who has the ability to manage all elements of the finance function of an expanding company (based in Redruth) and provide timely data to support the managing director as the business continues to grow? If so, and you’re looking for somewhere to put your experience to use in a key role contributing to the overall success of the business, get in touch as this could be the opportunity that helps change your situation.From their point of view, finding the right person is essential, they’re a small team who remain true to their customer focused values and need someone with similar ethics. They need someone with the drive and enthusiasm to support decision making to enable their continued success. They understand that life outside of work exists and are open to discuss topics such as flexible and some remote working. The opportunity is available on a permanent, full time basis and will be offered with a salary likely to be between £28,000 and £32,000 dependent on experience.Your career to date will have positioned you well to take on all aspects of the accounting systems for an SME with a c.£2m turnover. This is the sole finance role within the business, and as such, you’ll naturally take a proactive stance to stay on top of deadlines and ensure work is completed within set timeframes, and will be confident in your self to bring suggestions and solutions to the MD’s attention. You’ll need to be as happy inputting sales invoices as you would be preparing the year end accounts and creating reports to assist financial planning and development plans. The company has performed well recently, and they have a five year expansion plan to follow that could see your role and responsibilities develop, in turn, it is anticipated this could lead to you creating and the leading your own small team.
