We have an opportunity available for a Factory Trainer to join the Ice Production team.
The Factory Trainer is responsible for providing training for individual or groups to new hires as well as existing employees

- Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Must be flexible. The suitable candidate will be required to work between days and nights shifts, with a total of 60 minutes paid break per shift

Job Accountabilities
- Create targets to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
- Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed required production goals.
- Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
- Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
- Observe employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
- Document each training program and module properly and provide follow up for refresher training courses.
- Determine that trainees are competent at each stage of the training.
- Create and maintain training manuals
- Exhibit and practice positive communications and team building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and or Manager.
- Maintain a training log with trainees and hold weekly one-on-one progress reviews with new recruits during interim period.
- Functions as a team member within the department as and when required, perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete additional training to ensure the training function is leading operational behaviours.
*6 weeks 100% maternity pay followed by additional £100 for 33 weeks on top of statutory maternity (after 1 years’ service)
*2 weeks full paid paternity leave (must qualify for statutory paternity leave for full paid leave)
* Welcome bonus of £750 after completing 12 weeks*
