Bar Supervisor

Andalucia Tapas and Wine Bar are looking for a passionate, proactive and charismatic bar supervisor who shares our values. Your primary responsibility in this position will be to support the bar’s daily operations, collaborating with senior management and team members to ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided and that our guests’ expectations are consistently exceeded, resulting in exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for the bar, acting as the "face" of our brand values, and developing and leveraging great connections with guests, suppliers, and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the bar’s day-to-day operations.
  • Training employees and setting a good example for the team.
  • Supporting proactive events and bar dining.
  • Increase brand awareness through social media engagement marketing. Collaborating with senior management to deliver scaled posts and opportunities.
  • Develop strong and professional relationships with our guests in order to provide them with consistently inspiring service.
  • Inventory management and ordering.
  • Create new cocktails and drink menus that are consistent with the company’s brand.
  • Ensure that all measurements and other licencing requirements are met by the team.
  • Work with senior management to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.

Important: Key Skills

  • Prior experience working in a high-paced, high-end environment is preferred.
  • Show a strong interest in cocktails and proactive drink specials.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beverages, upscale products, and ingredients
  • The ability to expand, improve, and market our current menu.
  • Outstanding personal presentation
  • As a leader, you must be capable of inspiring others.
  • To effectively communicate with various areas of the business, strong communication skills are required.
  • A strong emphasis on providing inspiring service to our guests.
  • A WSET or similar qualification or knowledge would be advantageous, as would compliance with UK licencing laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience as a barista would be advantageous.

Andalucia Tapas and Wine Bar is a thriving tapas and wine bar in Ferring, offering training and incredible career development. This is a leadership role, which means that you will be expected to work the hours as required by customer demand.

Paid overtime on a working contract. approx. 35-45 hours per week, split over 5 working days.

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,850.00 per year
