The post holder will be required to work as part of the Facilities cleaning and catering team meeting the NHS National Specifications for Cleanliness, and Environmental Health standards.

They will be responsible for cleaning all clinical/non clinical areas and wards along with providing a quality food service to patients.

Duties include cleaning all kitchen areas, bedrooms, washing up, regenerating prepared meals, and cold food preparation. Assisting with the compliance of food safety policies, NHS cleaning procedures and current legislation.

Previous experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service. We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the important of adherence to infection prevention and control standards at all times.
