Grafton Banks Finance are assisting an exciting and growing client with offices in Worthing; they are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this position will be responsible for assisting the line manager with a range of duties, including ownership of the accounts payable and receivable ledgers.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Processing multi-currency transactions and invoices
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Ensuring supplier statements are reconciled.
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Co-ordinate recharge invoices
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  • Ad hoc support across the finance department

Desired skills and experience:

  • Confident Excel user
  • Studying towards either AAT level 4 or ACCA/CIMA studies
  • Available on immediate or short notice
  • Ability to commute into Worthing offices
