Job description

Working for a large £22m turnover manufacturer based in North Sheffield, this role is perfect for someone Part Qualified or QBE from a manufacturing background with strong experience in Costing.

Your duties as an Accountant will include:-
  • Producing timely and accurate weekly management information
  • Implementing weekly production reports
  • Ensuring robust processes are in place
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales team to provide knowledge and analysis on manufacturing costs, bill of materials and product pricing
  • The management of standard costs
  • The implementation of Labour Capture
  • The implementation of production variance reporting.
  • Being proficient in inventory/stock accounting and being able to do balance sheet reconciliations.

The successful Accountant will be:-
  • Studying towards or qualified in a professional qualification ACCA/CIMA
  • Experienced in a manufacturing environment with exp. in Costing, variance reporting, stock accounting.
  • A strong excel user.
