FP&A Manager

The role is to support planning, forecasting, monitoring performance, analytics, and running of the EU Acquiring business end to end for Specialised Ecommerce vertical Crypto. This role reports into the EU Acquiring Finance leader who supports Pricing, Interchange/Scheme Fee Optimisation, ISV/ISO partnerships, Direct Merchants, Account Management, Sales, and all other FP&A related activity to ensure the smooth running of the business.

• Monthly/Quarterly analysis of results vs prior year, budget, forecast, prior period
• Ensuring full ownership of full P&L covers Revenue, COGS, and all direct operational expenses
• Tracking of key initiatives that support the business to increase product features/functionality and geography expansion of this specialised vertical
• Providing detailed tracking of performance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Understanding trends of the business vs market performance
• Conducting monthly/quarterly business reviews for the specialised vertical
• Working closely with account management and client teams to raise any flags
• Pre-empting and investigating queries to support senior management which aid the story for quarterly earnings
• Being able to document all processes into standard operating procedures so wider team can support when required to cover
• Working this the various business leads to identify gaps in various aspect of the delivery and relating investment required to address going forward
• Understanding the latest view of the risks and opportunities we may have for the vertical
• Working across all the sub departments of Finance like Accounting/Controller, Treasury, Reconciliations, Safeguarding, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Understanding cashflow movements and forecasting aiding accounting/treasury requirements
• Driving the business to make the right decisions by supporting business cases
• Ensuring all processes have an end-to-end process and standard operating procedures
  

Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with people and good business acumen
• Highly organised, able to adapt quickly in a fast moving environment, and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Excellent team player, confident with complex concepts, dynamic and self-motivated
• Excellent numeracy skills, being able to deal with large data sets and presentation skills
• Knowledge of HFM, EBS, PBCS, Planning tools
• Advanced MS Excel

Experience:

• Management accounting experience essential, looking for 3-5 years
• Prior experience in an FP&A team within a Technology or Payments industry essential
• Specialised experience within digital currencies, crypto, blockchain desirable
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in- Business, Accounting, Economics, Maths, Engineering
• Newly qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accreditation
