Salary / Rate of pay:£24,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular business within a business who are a distributor of speciality chemicals, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Package
  • £24,000 pending on experience

Your Responsibilities Will Include

We are recruiting a full time Warehouse Operative to join our team
  • Goods inwards: receiving deliveries, checking quantities, and storing in correct location. Checking for damages and missing items.
  • Goods outwards: picking and packing customer orders accurately to meet deadlines and to the correct specification. Dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
  • Stock control: regular stock takes, coordinating quarantine stock materials and dealing with any stock discrepancy.
  • Manual handling: re-palletise containers up to 25kg each and move stock around by hand when required.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a warehouse environment with a racking system and will be a qualified forklift truck driver. They must be able to work as part of a team and independently, have good numeracy and literacy skills and a high level of physical fitness.
