Employment Type: 3-month FTC with potential to become permanent

Hours per week: 20 – 40 hours per week

The Role

Wild Cornwall Ltd. are seeking a FOOD PRODUCTION ASSISTANTwith pack and dispatch responsibilities to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards that our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Production: Assist in the production of our gourmet products, including sauces, condiments, pickles, and liqueurs.
  • Packaging: Carefully package our goods in accordance with our luxury brand standards, ensuring each product is beautifully presented.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks at various stages of production and packaging to maintain our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
  • Patch and Dispatch: Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in dispatch.
  • Product Labelling: Accurately label and barcode products for shipping and inventory tracking.
  • Cleaning and Sanitisation: Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and hygienic production environment.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, food safety regulations, and company policies.

About You:

You will have the required skills and experience to be able to perform the role responsibilities. You should be a team player with the ability to work under your own initiative, as well as the ability to work efficiently and safely to maximise output.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Previous experience in food production or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and labelling.
