Lions Speciality Foods based in Righead Industrial Estate, Bellshill, are manufacturers of salmon/ haddock/ trout to the retail and food service sectors.

We are looking to recruit for Food Operatives.

The overall purpose of the job is to assist production to full fill production plans.

Your duties will include:

- Handling, preparing and packing of fish products

- Working on a fast paced production line

- Cleaning/ hygiene duties

- Working to targets and deadlines

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience of working within a factory environment would be beneficial

- Excellent understanding of health & safety and food hygiene requirements within a food production environment

- Enthusiasm, excellent time management skills and be able to work using your own initiative to work to tight deadlines

- Flexible in availability for working hours

Hours of work:Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm (approx. exact shift will be discussed during interview)

Rate of pay: £8.91 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
