Are you an experienced Flexographic Printer / Flexographic Press Operator? If so, Workchain would love to hear from you. We have an exciting vacancy to join a company near Trowbridge, in return, there is a salary of £26,000 per annum with an attractive list of benefits too.

Working Hours

This role is working on our 3-shift system, with shift rotation being mornings, nights and afternoons.

Mornings: Monday - Thursday 06.00 14.00 Friday 06.00 - 11.30

Afternoons: Monday - Thursday 14.00 22.00 Friday 11.30 17.00

Nights: Monday - Thursday 22.00 06.00 Friday 17.00 - 22.30

Daily Responsibilities Will Include

Running and setting up of an 8 colour Flexographic Press to set times and speeds

Previous experience as a flexographic printer is essential, ideally Windmller & Hlscher and or Ofem machines

Inspection and examination of printed products for print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects

Monitoring stocks of materials such as paper, ink, and accessories to maintain supplies during equipment operation.

Advising maintenance of machine issue/problems

Working closely with the Operator and Management team to continually improve quality, process and production efficiencies.

To be suitable for this role, candidates must have:-

A good degree of dexterity to maintain speed

Print experience

The Ability To Show Good Colour Matching Skills

The ability to work from instructions

Good time management skills

Ability to work toward targets

Troubleshooting skills

Mechanical and practical skills

Excellent housekeeping skills
