FACILITIES DEPARTMENT – UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS DERBY AND BURTON NHS FOUNDATION TRUST

FLEXIBLE FACILITIES ASSISTANT (COURIER)

Zero hours per week - As and When Required Working Arrangements

Standard Working Arrangements are 17,422.28 Whole Time Equivalent pro-rated.

Flexible Staffing Services aims to match suitably skilled workers with the staffing requirements of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for hard working, reliable and flexible individuals to join our bank team. You will carry out a wide range of Courier runs between Trust sites over 7 days a week.

The work is varied, interesting and demands initiative and awareness. Good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and on your own, plus a flexible approach to working hours is essential. Full training will be given, but previous experience in a similar role would be desirable.

A full driving licence is essential to include driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonne.

To work as a member of the Facilities Team to carry out a comprehensive range of Courier tasks at the UHDB.

This includes sorting/delivery and collection of parcels; movement of equipment, bloods, samples as well as medical records.
