Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a fleet inventory of all vehicles owned by the company, including their make and model, purchase date, current mileage, and any outstanding repairs that need to be made
  • Working with Financial Controller to ensure leases and purchase of vehicles are carried out in accordance with requirement and company processes.
  • Maintaining Key Cupboard and owner of vehicle distribution process to team members
  • Ensuring that all company vehicles are insured and registered
  • Coordinating with third party vendors to arrange maintenance and repair services for vehicles
  • Managing fuel card suppliers and usage
  • Maintaining records of fuel usage and mileage, to support expenses claims
  • Communicating with vendors regarding service appointments for each vehicle
  • Coordinating with insurance companies to file claims for damaged vehicles
  • Reporting vehicle accidents or other incidents involving company vehicles to insurance companies or legal departments as appropriate
  • Working with the People department to schedule employee training on company vehicles
  • Coordinating with the accounting department to arrange for payment for any costs incurred
  • Working closely with H&S department to ensure risk compliance
  • Analyse and report on all fleet related metrics
  • Car parking
  • Relevant Ad hoc duties fleet related duties, as required

Essential

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Solutions Focused
  • High levels of accuracy and computer literacy

Preferable

  • Holds driving licence with D1 Capability
  • Experience of analysing driver/vehicle data
