Arriva Traincare have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Contracts Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Business Development Director you will be working as part of the fleet team to support the management of Grand Central’s maintenance contractors.

Contract: Permanent contract working an average of 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

What will I be doing as a Fleet Contracts Manager?
  • Managing the commercial arrangements with maintainers, cleaners, material suppliers and technical support organisations
  • Monitor the adherence to the fleet budget
  • Collating contract documents and processing relevant data for effective contract management
  • Assisting with contract reviews
  • Generating reports on various aspects of supplier performance against contractual requirements
  • Management and processing of purchase orders
  • Monitoring supplier’s performance against SLA’s
What will I need?
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a contract/commercial management role – ideally managing engineering contracts
  • Recognised technical or managerial qualification at HND level or equivalent
  • Well organised and methodical in prioritising workloads
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Office based IT systems
