Reporting to the Plant Director, the Fixed Plant Engineer assume responsibility for maintaining and repairs to our fixed waste processing plants across 6 sites in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertaking planned & reactive maintenance and repairs to our waste processing equipment (Kiverco, Bluemac & M&K) including conveyors, screens, trommels and density separators.
  • Developing the preventative maintenance systems to reduce downtime and maximise efficiencies
  • Involvement in new installation projects and fabrications where needed
  • Continually seeking opportunities for process improvements.
The Successful Candidate Will
  • Have a good technical knowledge of our plant and machinery
  • Be confident with hydraulics, electrical repairs and welding
  • Be able to plan and implement maintenance schedules
  • Have good communication, organisation and team working skills
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety
  • Be able to work flexibly and to deadlines
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence
  • Be looking to develop a long term career with the Collard Group
