The Fish and chip shop Manager leads and oversees the management of all aspects of The Catch. Ensuring speed of service, and delivering a great Quality traditional Fish and Chip shop experience.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include following food safety and health and safety guidelines at all times. Leading the team, creating a strong leadership role where you can motivate staff and lead by example. Communicating with the team and wider staff team in a professional and courteous manner. We want staff to feel valued and enjoy working with us, whilst giving the customer a great experience. Creating rotas and managing staffing levels to the budget.

Ensure high levels of presentation are maintained both front and back of house, including cleanliness, personal hygiene and meal presentation.

Responsible for dealing with customer queries and complaints in the appropriate manner, monitoring and reviewing feedback to ensure the best customer experience at all levels.

Maintaining stock levels, ordering and budgets. Monitoring portion sizes and control.

The ideal candidate will preferably have fish frying experience or experience of running a busy kitchen. Experience of leadership, strong work ethic, team player, food hygiene and coshh trained.

Competitive rates of pay with an hourly rate of £14 per hour based on 40 hours per week with additional overtime up to 60 hours a week at £16 per hour. Discretionary bonus package at the end of the contract.

6 month seasonal contract from April 1st-September 30th.
