Salary:£23,114- £23,893 (plus 20% unsocial hours allowance)
Hours:36:40per week (worked over a 4on/4off shift pattern of 12 hours)
Based: Sir Robert Peacock House, Vulcan Street, Oldham, OL1 4LA

Role overview
To participate in the Council’s response to incidents and undertake patrolling duties to guard public buildings, assets and spaces and take appropriate steps to secure property and prevent risks to the public.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake security duties as directed including routine patrolling or premises, sites and open spaces and alarm activation responses.
- Keep clear written records of all incidents
- Attend incidents and act under the direction of others
- Communicate with members of the public, colleagues and other agencies in person, over airwave or telephone.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
Be the holder of, or working towards a SIA Security or Door Supervision licence
Be in possession of a Full UK driving licence in order to drive Council vehicles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral
The ability to work as part of team
