First line IT Support required in the Chippenham area, for an ever expanding, reputable company.

Working hours: 09:00 - 17:00. Up to £21k per annum

Driving licence is required.

Essential experience:

  • Worked in IT performing a support role.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • A good understanding of how a network operates including network cabling.

Job summary:

  • To provide support to end users.
  • To help maintain the IT infrastructure and hardware.
  • Software support/training on Office Applications.
  • Assist in larger upgrade projects including investigating new technologies.
  • Visits to remote sites may be required.
  • Out of hours IT support.

Key tasks:

  • First line IT support.
  • Backup other team members.
  • On Call out of hours support.
  • Day-to-day system housekeeping.
