Ember Compliance is a leading consultancy and training provider to the electrotechnical, fire safety and fire / security alarm industry. We operate throughout the UK assisting firms with quality, technical and training support services. We have a brilliant opportunity for an individual to join our team assisting delivery of our services.

The role

As a team member, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, learner focused training. You will also perform audits of firms and their work for confirmation of compliance to industry and scheme standards. The role entails:

  • Delivery of training and qualifications, and support of learners to achieve their full potential
  • Assist in the development of relevant training courses
  • Assist in the management of our training and auditing programme
  • Carry out audits of firms and their work to ensure compliance with industry and scheme requirements
  • Production of improvement plans for rectification and future compliance

This list of duties is not exhaustive and there is an expectancy to contribute towards other projects and support colleagues in line with the needs of the business.

Training is delivered through our online training platform, classroom and on site. Auditing is delivered online and on site. The role requires the individual to have a willingness to travel, including some overnight stays.

What we need from you

You’ll be forward thinking, diligent & enthusiastic, ideally with industry experience. We can upskill the right individual. To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Solid industry experience
  • Flexible approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to gain necessary qualifications
  • Work under own initiative and excellent self-management skills
  • Gain, hold and maintain a clean disclosure (DBS)
  • Hold a current, clean driving licence
  • Willingness to be part of a team developing improvement internally and externally
  • Adult Teaching Qualification (AET) or equivalent, or willing to work towards this
  • Assessors Qualification or willing to work towards this

Scheme knowledge, and industry technical / training qualifications would be beneficial, but a requirement, we can upskill the right individual.
