Our client, Advance Security Ltd, offers the very latest in business security systems - from CCTV to access control, burglar alarms and fire alarms, they are identifying security solutions to suit their customers’ business needs. Working with the latest technology, Advance Security can pick out areas within businesses’ premises which are most at risk and recommend systems to protect them.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Fire and Security Service Technician to join their team in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will service security systems at customer sites predominantly within a 40-mile radius of Cambridge, working as part of a team of highly skilled Security Alarm Engineers.
Fire and Security Service Technician, the role:
- Delivering outstanding customer service and providing clear customer feedback
- Servicing fire and intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
- Identifying potential opportunities where customers could benefit from using additional services
- Managing own diary to ensure allocated work is completed on time
- Responding to out of hours calls whilst covering on call duty
- Following health and safety regulations
Fire and Security Service Technician, the person:
- Previous experience of servicing a variety of security systems
- Knowledge of fault-finding, troubleshooting and repairing faults
- Client focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory security and DBS checks
Fire and Security Service Technician, the benefits:
