Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire and Security Engineer located in Oldham. As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be tasked with designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining security and fire systems. This will include electronic security systems like CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm, as well as life safety systems like Fire Detection and Alarm, Extinguishing, and Emergency Lighting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining various security and fire systems
  • Strong knowledge of electronic security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, IP CCTV, and Integrated Systems
  • Expertise in the installation and maintenance of life safety systems such as Fire Detection and Alarm, Extinguishing, and Emergency Lighting
  • A background in fire and security engineering or a related field and/or completion of a relevant vocational qualification (e.g. Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Installing Security Systems and Equipment, Level 3 Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and work well in a team environment
  • A valid driving license
