We are recruiting for a Financial Planning Administrator for an award winning wealth management company based in Northwich, Cheshire (CW8 2). This is working within a growing company and is a great opportunity to be part of its future.

Role Overview

Working in a growing team, the Financial Planning Administrator will initially provide back office administrative support assisting two financial planners.

Role Requirements

As the Financial Planning Administrator, the candidate will be involved in all the back office requirements of the business supporting two financial planners with:
  • Diary management - including booking appointments / meeting and greeting clients / preparing meeting rooms
  • Scanning and filing
  • Client file preparation - Obtaining valuations and updating files upon meeting completion
  • Fact Find - inputting details
  • Send out Letters of Authority and following up as required
  • Issuing pension forms to clients and to Department of Work and Pensions
  • Onboarding clients onto the digital client portal
  • Business processing
  • Handling client queries and fund withdrawals
  • Reception Cover
  • Any other additional duties as required to cover a small team

Person Requirements
  • Looking for a long term career in Wealth Management, starting in an administrative capacity and increasing their knowledge through experience and development
  • Committed to become diploma qualified financial planning (CII - R01 to R06 exams)
  • Previous experience within a financial services administrative role preferrable
  • Excellent communication skills - Face to Face, via the telephone and in writing
  • Good attention to detail is essential
  • Comfortable dealing with clients of high net worth on a regular basis
  • Naturally numeric - comfortable working with numbers of a daily basis (GCSE Maths grade C or above / or equivalent)
  • High level of computer literacy - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Great team player, comfortable roll their sleeves up and get involved as and when the needs arise.

Additional Information
  • Salary: £17,500 - 20,000 per annum starting salary (depending on skills and experience)
  • Location: Cuddington, Northwich (CW8 2)
  • Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (9.00am - 5.30pm with one hour lunch or 9.00am - 5.00pm with 30 mins lunch).
  • Days of work: Monday to Friday
  • Pension: Employer / Employee pension provided
  • CII Membership, study material and exams all paid for by the company
  • Start date: ASAP
