Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Finance Director for a private equity backed and rapidly growing multisite B2C services business based in Derby.

This Finance Director role is a new position created to enable the CFO to focus on acquisitions in the UK & European market. Reporting to the CFO this role will sit on the Senior Management Team and will be responsible for; managing and developing a finance team of 12 people; the delivery of consolidated monthly management accounts and supporting board pack financial commentary; identifying, implementing and analysing relevant financial and operational KPIs with supporting financial analysis; budgeting and forecasting; identifying and implementing more efficient systems and processes; post acquisition integration of new sites; managing relationships with external advisors including auditors, banks and tax advisors; and ensuring all regulatory reporting requirements are met for all UK statutory entities.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant; have previously been a Finance Director or Group Financial Controller with multisite experience; have excellent team management and development skills; have very strong communication skills; and have strategic vision to be able to see the big picture. Prior experience of working with private equity would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role is paying £80K - £100K depending on experience and will be majority office based in Derby with occasional travel to other sites as required.
