The ideal candidate will be a driven Financial Controller joining during a period of growth, someone who will look to continue building on this success. This is a great time to join where you can utilise your skills and experience to implement new and improve existing processes to increase revenue and profits.

As the Financial Controller reporting directly to the owner - you will be responsible for:

· Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for the Accountants

· Preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual Sales reports

· Preparation of budgets and sales forecasts

· Management of daily cashflow

· Management of external relationships including Bank and Accountancy partner

· Responsible for Sales Ledger/Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, Costing Administrator

· Stock management and costs

· Payroll for employees

· Liaising with suppliers, supplier relationships and ensuring all invoices are correct and paid.

Desirable Skills of the Financial Controller:

· Previous experience in accounting.

· AAT Level 4.

· Experience of working for a small business.

· Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.

· Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a relevant role.

· Essential Have a strong knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
