Hewett’s Finance team are currently representing one of our key clients in the Redditch area. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person to fill a new Financial Controller position within our clients business. Ideally you will be newly ACCA or CIMA qualified. QBE applicants will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Management and control of the finance team on day to day activities
  • Manage the cash flow requirement of the company and group preparation of the monthly financial reporting including;
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger
  • Coordinate financial reporting requirement with group company finance departments
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts for UK and international group companies
  • Assist with monthly reporting of company and group performance to directors and other stakeholders
  • Preparation of annual budget with department heads
  • Working with department heads on ad-hoc projects
  • Review the business operation and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

  • ACCA/CIMA Qualification (QBE Considered)
  • Finance Team Management experience
  • Experience liaising with key stakeholders
