RSM Property are an established, independent Property Management and Lettings agency and, due to retirement in the New Year of our current part-time Financial Controller, are looking to recruit a replacement to join our small and enthusiastic team.

You will be responsible for the management of the financial affairs of the block managment schemes, the lettings agency and maintenance company.

We are looking to recruit within the next 3 months so that the successful candidate can work alongside our current controller.

Financial Controller

Duties:

Up to £25,000 pro rata – Part-time 21 hours per week – days to suit.

Responsibilities

Day to day management of multi-bank accounts

Paying suppliers and landlords

Recording monies received

Paying salaries and liaising with the external payroll agent

Managing Direct Debits and understanding the regulations

Managing the annual subscriptions of the various Regulatory bodies

Liaising with the Insurance broker to organise the annual insurances.

Managing Housing Benefit payments

Preparing annual budgets

Liaising with the accountants at the financial year ends.

Computer literate and able to work with various software packages.

Banking experience would be preferable but not essential.
