Altum Consulting are currently partnering with an established PE-backed business to recruit a Financial Controller. This role is for an initial 6-month period and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Central UK holding companies of the Group including actuals reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is for an immediate start.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • All month-end responsibilities including production of monthly management including P&L and cash flow and submission of month end results.
  • Preparation of the annual UK holding companies budgets, quarterly reforecasting and preparation of weekly cash forecasts for the Treasury team.
  • Supporting in the statutory reporting, liaising directly with external auditors.
  • People management responsibilities, line manager for existing Management Account

You’ll be/have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post qualified experience
  • Experience working in a group environment.
  • Exposure to multi-currency environments.
  • Working understanding of IFRS financial reporting requirements.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, highly proactive and agile.
  • Strong stakeholder management skillset.
