If you are up for a challenge and are willing to work hard, working with us will give you a fulfilling and varied career.Joining our core Finance Team, as Financial Controller you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting operations of the Target Group and it’s subsidiaries, organising and controlling Target’s financial reporting and cash management. You will be responsible for reporting and financial optimisation of the company, leading the Financial Accounting and Management Accounting teams. You will have responsibility for financial risk management and are expected to create risk minimisation plans, ensuring sound financial management and control.Some Of The Main Responsibilities Include

• Prepare materials to support the Finance function effectively communicating the company financials and presenting in relevant governance forums.
• Acting as the main point of contact with Target’s parent company, Tech M for all finance queries
• Deputise for the CFO and / or Head of Commercial Finance when required.
• Develop commercially sustainable processes and procedures for new initiatives/areas launched.
• Develop and adhere to standardised model techniques, with general assumptions and operating metrics agreed with wider business.
• Adhering to regulatory principles and maintain appropriate Systems and Controls to ensure that Target Servicing remains fully compliant at all times.
• Prepare all financial reporting and statements on regular basis
• Coordinating the management of cash flow, debt, and debt collection.
• Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems.
• Support the business with the financial strategy and decision-making processes
• Perform a capitalisation review of key expenditure items across the business and consider the appropriate treatment under the relevant accounting standards
• Perform a review of technical accounting standards and any legislation updates and consider the impact on Target’s reporting. Co-ordinating the necessary changes to ensure we are compliant

The successful candidate will ideally have...

• Been educated to degree level (a specialism in finance is desirable but not essential)
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• Qualified as an accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA)
• Able to demonstrate sufficient post-qualification experience

Experience In

• Financial Control, having previously held a Financial Controller position.
• Financial Services and Outsourcing industries (desirable)
• Team management experience (desirable)
• Using MS Excel confidently
