Financial Controller and Travel Coordinator

Penguin London are a bespoke travel company specialising in booking travel for group and VIP clients in the film, TV, sport and events industries. We offer services such as hotels, flights, private flights, rental cars and chauffeurs throughout the world. As a young, family-run business you will be part of a small, close and friendly team working together in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of sports and entertainment travel.

We are looking for a new team member who will balance their time between the following roles:

Fiancial Controller
- You will be responsible for sending invoices to clients and suppliers, managing and reconsciling incoming payments and submitting VAT returns. You will also work alongside our accountants to prepare the necessary information for Corporation Tax returns. You need to have a good understand of Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel, as well as a good understanding of VAT and tax when managing company expenses.

Travel Coordinator
- You will work alongside our small, friendly team to put together travel solutions for our clients. This will involve searching, negotiating and booking hotels and rental cars throughout the world. You will work directly with our new and existing clients to understand their requirements.

Salary: From £26,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • HOOK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
  • Xero: 2 years (preferred)
