Financial Services Administrator

Are you looking for a foot in the door to a financial services career? Have you been seeking a clear-cut progression path? Do you have experience in a Financial Services, Banking, Finance, or Insurance based role? GREAT – I would love to speak with you.

My Amersham based client, with 9 offices across the UK in total, are specialists in risk, pensions, investment, and insurance. Due to growth, they are looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join the team. The purpose of the role is to make sure that new and existing customers’ policies are accurately maintained and serviced.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Financial Services Administrator?

  • Communicate confidently with clients and their advisors
  • Liaise with third parties where required e.g., banks, investment managers
  • Read, and clearly understand documentation relating to each scheme
  • Prepare manual calculations to develop an understanding of pensions
  • Update the database frequently

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Financial Services Administrator?

  • Computer Literate
  • Previous Pension experience is NOT required however adventurous
  • Ability to understand data, to make decisions based on the data
  • Keen to progress with a company that can offer structured career progression
  • Strong attention to detail, methodical and numerical skillset
